"Pauses"

With the sound of the singing birds and falling rain outside, and the smell of fresh Rosemary yeast bread cooking inside puts me at peace this morning. I was actually able to sleep in till seven o'clock this morning! My husband is at work, and my children are playing peacefully (for the moment) with one another up stairs, and I am sipping my nice fresh hot coffee wishing my significant other was beside me sharing this peaceful bliss with me.

With all craziness, and ongoing excitement, I rarely remember to take a few moments and look for those "special" pauses in life and fully embrace them. When I woke up this morning and saw my two babies playing so delicately and lovingly with one another, and Jordan still fast asleep spooning our dog Punkin, and my dearest husbands computer still open on the table displaying all his hard work for his seminar last night while I slept, my heart could not do anything more then smile and remind me of what a lucky woman I am. I want to make it a point to take more time in my life to embrace moments such as these.

On a side note, my husband has started a blog circulating around his seminar here.

  1. i just read briefly over your husbands blog and all i can say is WOW. i'm going to have to have my husband read over it - it looks absolutely amazing! i'm doing a bible study right now called A Wife's Biblical Submission (links on my blog) that tie really nicely into what he's talking about! kudos to you both!
