A day of washing windows, steaming counters and floors, cleaning back yards and rabbit cages may sound like a dull moment to most, but for some odd reason, I do enjoy my cleaning days. It gives me a feeling of peace when I am holding a germ fighting object in my hands. Of course, with four busy feet till noon, then about twelve busy feet from then on it serves to be an all day task. Until Jordan comes home from school, I can knock out all the small tedious tasks that would not be affected by his and all his friends coming and goings of their little feet.

Today will be a day of picnics and playing outside to help avoid the rapid mess that occurs when two little ones start to put their imagination to good use. It is a wonderful day with a beautiful breeze, and for the most part, lots of shade. Lately, I have had to make sure to have a jacket, long sleeve shirts and hats within arms reach for the tots, for the weather has been unlike any traditional Hawaiian weather. Who would have thought one would wear a jacket and a beanie in Hawaii?
