The Bare

My Children are normally very calm, and sweet natured - Until you give them a bath.

If you have ever given a dog a bath, you probably know that when you are towel drying them off, that is when they are the most playful. My Children are much like that.

Bath time before bed time I have learned for my wee-ones is a big no-no. It hypes them up, no matter how calming of a bath you give them. Directly after a bath they love to snuggle, and enjoy a calm moment with you, but then 20 minutes later...

...they are ripe with energy, ready to take on anyone and anything. I usually give them a bath right after their afternoon snack, and let them run around naked until dinner. It helps with Charlotte's potty training, and airing their "unmentionable" parts out. Because of this, it has even encouraged William to use the trainer potty on occasion. But simply, my children just love being in their own skin, and nothing more. Of course, Jordan is the exception. He is just a little to old to go in the nude, obviously. I truly think if we let him though, he just might take us up on that offer.

Today we had a wonderful day full of cleaning and coloring. Jordan had a half day at school today. After he finished his studies, he decided to stay in and spend a little quality time with the family instead of leaving to go out and play with all his awaiting friends.
- Have I mentioned how much I LOVE that boy?-

Of course, anytime there are markers involved, the human body (anyones body) becomes a live canvas at any given second. Charlotte coloring on William, William coloring on Charlotte...

... and mommy coloring on a happy face on Charlotte's bottom. We all laughed so hard! (Thank goodness they were washable!) William wanted one so bad after I did it to Charlotte, so we gave him one too.

Today was one of those days that make being a stay at home mom to three WELL WORTH IT! I love these days.
