Mason Jars
I know I have talked about my secret fetish for mason jars before, but I love them so much, I had to share more.

I absolutely love mason jars! I will buy something in a glass bottle, over a plastic container any given day. We have them lined up in our pantry and cabinets. We use them from everything to storage, decoration, vases, and drinking glasses.

Every time we finish something we bought that came in a mason jar, or glass container, a raw feeling of excitement just comes over me. I can not wait to wash it, take the label off of it, and add it to our ever growing collection of jars.

I even saw on my sister-in-laws blog a post where she used them to store pieces of sandwiches in for on the go. I absolutely loved it! I had to try that, and I did. I have to say that all the complements I received that day (mostly from the older generation) have to go straight to Holly.
Possession of the Flower
Today, we had our car detailed. While the detailer was working hard on our huge land rover, me and the children were working hard with eating our lunch and collecting flowers.

William did not see a need in making a collection, for he was thoroughly happy with the single flower he picked up off the ground (even though it was half dead). He carried that thing for two hours outside, and had to fight off his sister from it numerous times.

He continued to hold it and admire it once we went inside up until Jackie snatched it from his hands and ate it. That of course did not go over very well. I had to quickly run outside to get another one of the same sort for him.

As I walked into the house, there was William, in tears over his flower still. I presented him with the new one, and it just wasn't the same. He very firmly rejected it, still crying. I felt so bad for him, after all, he loved that orange flower. I was able to distract him pretty quickly with a marshmallow. That seemed to be a great substitute.

This is a picture of Charlotte watching videos on the computer of her daddy. She loved the videos so much, that I had to play them all three or four times. I thought her look of concentration while watching these videos was picture taking worthy. I am happy that I was actually able to get a shot of her bright amazed and happy eyes.
