Day 3

Jordan scribbling down the book he read last night in his reading log before school this morning.

Charlotte asked me so sweetly this morning if they could color (after seeing the markers Jordan left out on the table)
I lined the whole table with paper, and let them scribble away.
William not only found pleasure in coloring on the paper, but he found it quite fun to color on himself, and his sister. Thank goodness for washable markers.
This kept them busy for almost two full hours! They enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

Charlotte would draw a circle and say that it was her potty, a scribble here and there and say which scribble was Jackie, and Punkin. She even drew a very large line on the paper that covered the length of the table, and said that was a "slide". She was completely getting lost in her own world of colors an lines.

A greek philosopher of the 20th century could not have put it any better when he said:

"You have your brush, you have your colors, you paint paradise, then in you go."
