Toys are obsolete

If my children could have the whole of toys 'r' us dumped in the middle of our living room, they would be over joyed and thrilled........ for about an hour, maybe two.

If you give them a basket, card board box, or anything similar, they will be delighted, and find it fascinating for practically the whole day, and come back to it the next.

Because of this, we do not own many toys. We have a basket in their room with toys, one in the study with toys, and a very small basket of toys in the hallway. Other than that, they have a plethora of books. My Children would choose a book over a toy almost any day of the week.
