Morning Greetings

Every morning, when I open the door to the babies room, I am usually greeted by a shrill yell for cheer from Charlotte as she hugs me then makes her mad dash out the door, and down the stairs for breakfast. William, since he has no free roaming abilities as of now, is still waiting patiently for me. He is ALWAYS set up with some toy, or book to read, courtesy of his sister. This morning, I was greeted with him wanting to read a book to me (the same one I heard him reading and practising over the monitor down stairs).

His version of the story lasted all about 45 seconds, when he closed the book, and stood up to announce that he was "ALL DONE".

He will be two here in a couple of months, along with his sister turning three, and the both of them will be in toddler beds. I fear that there will be no more of this sweet morning ritual that I love so much.
Until then, I will make the most of my sweet stories, and show and tells.

  1. William looks so much like Chase! I've never noticed it before.

And your kids are adorable, by the way.
