Healthy Eating for Toddlers

We have a huge problem at our house with grazing. One of the ways that we have found helpful is to make up nutritious snacks ahead of time. Right before noon is when my children start to shut down, and need a little something to pick them back up. I have found this recipe to be a delightful and fast way to give them the energy they need. I usually make it in the mornings during there morning nap time, but since now Charlotte is only taking an afternoon nap, I am most likely going to have to make these before I wake them up for the day. If you have more then one small one running around your home, you may want to double the recipe.

Simple Circles

1/4 cup finely grated carrots

1/4 cup rolled oats or Granola*
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1 Tablespoon honey
3 Tablespoons peanut butter

Mix and roll into balls.
